The UVPro Series of UVC Conveyors is a line of innovative and robust next-generation UV Conveyor based systems designed to efficiently decontaminate goods, equipment, baggage and moisture-sensitive electronics while allowing the operator to remotely manage the operation. The systems are a line of customized and made to measure systems manufactured as per customer requirements. UV disinfection technologies are known to play a major role in a multiple barrier approach to reduce the transmission of viruses and pathogens. The Pious UVPro series uses High-intensity UV lamps that are positioned within the conveyor tunnel producing short wave ultraviolet light at 254 nm to impair and destroy exposed surfaces of pathogens.
ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT – UVC FOR DISINFECTION
Studies suggest, pathogens can live on surfaces for a few seconds to up to 3 days and normal cleaning and disinfection may leave behind some residual contamination. UVC light has been used extensively for more than 40 years in disinfecting surfaces against a whole suite of human pathogens. The principle works on UVC wavelengths with 254 nm, which gets absorbed and leads to killing or impairment of germs and targeted impairment or killing of micro-organisms.
